What You Need To Do To Grow Your Network Marketing Business
You are now in business and you are wondering what exactly you need to do to grow your business and make money. In this post I am going to share with you exactly What You Need To Do To Grow Your Network Marketing Business.
Have you ever thought about any of the brick and mortar businesses in your area? Do you think they have a business plan of how they are going to operate their business? What hours they are going to be open? How they are going to let people know that they are in business?
These are all questions you need to ask yourself. If you do not have a daily plan of action for your business then how do you really expect you to grow your business?
Imagine if you decided one day for lunch to go to McDonald’s and you get there and McDonald’s is closed. The owner wanted to go to the beach that day. Would you waste your gas and time to go back to that McDonald’s? I really doubt that you would. You never know if they will be open.
Another example would be a new clothing store opens up in your town. Now this store has all name brand clothing for your entire family and nothing is priced over $10. The owners of this store felt like they had such good prices and amazing products that they did not need to tell anyone about their new store. Odds are they are not going to be in business long because no one even knows that this amazing store exist.
I think by now you get the picture of what I am saying. You must have a daily business plan if you want to To Grow Your Network Marketing Business.
Now before you can really make yourself a business plan you first must determine what you really want from your business.
Do you want to make a few hundred dollars a month to maybe pay off some credit card bills? Maybe you want to make a few thousand dollars a month so that you can replace your income from your current JOB and stay at home with your family.
Now that you know what you are wanting from your business it is time to map out a plan of action to accomplish your goals. It will not happen overnight for most people. If you develop a plan and stick with it consistently then YES it will happen.
You must determine how you want to grow your business. Do you want to use social media? Do you want to start with your warm market and then do cold market? Do you want to do warm market and social media? Maybe you prefer just cold market.
Do not believe that you can build a sustainable income strictly from your warm market? Unless you have a huge warm market that will do anything that you recommend, odds are you can not. I am not going to tell you that you can build a business of several thousand dollars a month strictly on warm market.
If you honestly want to grow your network marketing business, I say get comfortable with being uncomfortable. You are going to have to talk to strangers, be it social media or when you are out an about.
Now once you determine how you are going to market your business what hours is your business going to be open? Exactly what hours are you planning on working your business each week? When determining this remember you need to be consistent with this. You can not do it for example 2 hours a day Monday through Friday for 3 weeks and then decide that you only want to do it for 2 hours a day for 2 days a week. Think back to the McDonald’s story when you are setting your business hours.
Now I understand that we all get busy and life happens but when growing a business if you really want it, then there will be sacrifices that must be made. It is best when you get everything lined up on how you are going to operate that you sit down with your family. Make them a part of this new business by explaining to them what you will be doing and why you are doing it.
Let your family know that when you are working your business that you really need them to take care of things and even act like you are not in the house. I understand that can sound a little harsh but imagine for just a minute, if you were at a JOB and you got on the phone and talked to one of your friends for about 30 just catching up and laughing, and then you get on FaceBook and scroll through to see what everyone is doing and saying. You may even see a cute video on social media you decide to watch. Now how long do you really think you would have that JOB? Not long at all. If you are the employer you are not going to continue to pay someone who is not producing, or doing their job.
In network marketing we are paid for getting people on our product/service. Getting eyeballs on the presentations to see if you the opportunity is a fit for them. That means you must get people to show up to a meeting, watch an online video, try a sample. Whatever your company mechanism is to get your product service or opportunity information in front of people.
Since you have now determined your hours of operation. You have determined which method or methods you want to use to market your business. You have determine how much money you want to make per month.
Now how are you going to accomplish this? It really is not as hard as you want to think it is. I am sure you have heard that with network marketing it is a numbers game. This is really a very true statement. If you are looking for a part-time income then you need to talk to a minimum of 5 people a day about your product/service and 5 people a day about your opportunity. If you are looking for a full time income then those numbers need to be 10 people a day about your product/service and 10 people a day about your opportunity. If you are not wanting to recruit for your business, that is cool, but you still need to talk to 5-10 people a day about your product/service.
Remember, people do not know you are in business if you do not tell them. Imagine if you implement talking to 5 to 10 people a day how many more people are going to know about your business at the end of 10 days, 30 days, 60 days. Also learn to ask for referrals.
I want to say one more thing what I consider a crucial thing on this subject. DO NOT spam your link to people, do not put your company name or link on your social media page. You will only turn people off if you do that. Always, always remember we are in the relationship business. So talk to people the same way you would have prior to going into business, and ask questions to see if your product/service or opportunity is a fit for them.
Now I am not telling you that you will have overnight success by doing this. What you will find is, in a lot of cases you are planting seeds. Think of it as planting a garden. You do not pick the crop the day you plant the seed. You must tend the garden and it is the same with your prospects. Now in some cases when you show your opportunity/product/service the person gets it right off and join on the spot, but in all honesty it does not always work out that way. We all wish it did. If it was easy everyone would be a millionaire, it takes work.

The more you do this, and the more you educate yourself the better you will get at closing your prospects/customers.
I like to compare this business to the medical field. I did not just wake up one morning and decide to be a registered nurse. Can you imagine a registered nurse with no training or a doctor with no formal training treating you? They invested time and money into their education and even after they graduated and started practicing it is required that they continue their education to renew their license.
What I am saying here is that you need to constantly be educating yourself in ways to improve you. Invest in you and your education in this industry. You are worth it.
Now that I have advised you to invest in you for your business let me clarify something here. On your hours of operation, only spend 10% of your time educating yourself. Above all else when you learn something, implement it. All the training and education in the world does your business no good if you do not implement it.
I can say these things because of being guilty of training and not implementing. Those days are gone now. If I learn something new I implement immediately. The only way to determine if something works for your business is implementation.
Once you implement do not expect immediate results. Try it for 30 days. You may have to make some tweaks to it but do not give up.
In closing I would like to say, never give up! On those tough days when it will be so very easy to throw in the towel, just think back to why you started. Be the example for your family and friends that no matter how hard it gets you are not a quitter, you will push through.
