MLM Tips: How To Grab The Attention Of Your Target Market On Social Media
It is really understandable why it has become so difficult to grab the attention of your target market, when you really stop and think about everything we are exposed to on social media. On the average we are all exposed to more than 3,500 marketing messages.
The sad part about all those messages is that they are from large companies with budgets far greater than we as network marketers have available. What is sad also is that 99% of their marketing has little or no effect on us.
The fact is a lot of us depend on Free when it comes to our marketing. I completely get that, and for that exact reason, I want you to get the best results for your efforts that you possibly can. It does not take a ton of money to market effectively. That is why I spend time studying and learning all I can about marketing.
Online Social Media Marketing
#1. Do not aim at creating a quick impression on your target market. What you want is to aim to create is a lasting impression. You can do this by making sure that all your content is congruent. You absolutely do not want to confuse your target audience. If you are wishing to market for example to network marketers, and helping them, great. Do not then in a week or so come back with something on health and wellness, or makeup, or travel. A bit confussing huh? If your target market is people who love fitness, then make your content congruent for that market.
#2. Do not aim to create a new impression with your target market. What you want to do is reinforce your current impression. You can do this by consistency with the congruent content. I understand that this sounds to simple, but the truth is, you will become known for a particular message with your target market, if you remain consistent, and bring value.
#3. Last but far from least is do not try and force people into buying your product or service. What you want to do is make them interested in your product or service. Pushing someone to buy does not work. If you continue to provide value to your target market, when they have a need for what you offer, then you will see that your marketing approach has worked. If you just push your product and offer no value, trust me you are turning people off, if they even notice what you are offering. Remember what we are all subjected to daily. I see in my news feed daily, before and after photos, pictures of products, etc. Do I see these people posting anything that I could actually find value in? No I do not. There could be times when if they were posting value, it would grab my attention. What would then happen, is the more I see this person providing valuable information, the more I will remember this person.
I can tell you from experience there are certain people who are marketing on social media, and I consider them my go to source, when I need something. Why? They have provided value. The ones online who are always promoting one product or service, and not providing value regularly, I just bypass. I look at them as just trying to make a quick dollar off of me. I have also found that when I buy products from those people, the value is so much greater than the cost. I can say this with all honesty, because I have also bought products from people who did not provide much value, and neither did their courses. Now I am not really being negative towards those individuals, I did get a nugget or two from them, but I have found that the ones who provide great value, seem to over deliver when they create a product, or they recommend a product you can bet it is a good product.
Personnaly I admire that in them, and strive to learn from them. You can bet, if I recommend a product, it is because I have found a great deal of value in that particular product.
I sincerely hope that this post helps you understand social media marketing online a little better. If there is any questions I can answer for you please feel free to reach out to me anytime. I can not speak for everyone, but what I can do is speak for myself, and the biggest reward I can have is seeing other network marketers have success, and if I play just a small role, that is well worth the effort I put into bringing you content.
