Do’s And Don’t Of Social Media Marketing For Your Business
Have you ever questioned the Do’s And Don’t Of Social Media Marketing For Your Business? I know this post is probably going to upset some network marketers, however I personally feel it needs to be addressed. I am not doing this to hurt any network marketers at all. In fact I am writing this post to hopefully help and guide the ones guilty of this, so that they can grow their businesses, professionally, as well as quit losing a ton of sells.
From experience I can tell you what I share with you today works, and what definitely does not work on social media. Early in my network marketing journey I think I made every mistake that there is to be made. I can now only imagine how much money I lost due to marketing my business all in the wrong way. As the saying goes, you don’t know what you don’t know. I finally realized that I needed to invest in a coach and learn the industry if I ever wanted to make my business a success. So that is exactly what we did, and wow what I learned is amazing. That is why if I can help even one person from traveling down the road I did, then writing this post is worth it.
I see in my news feed daily people putting all kinds of photos of their products, them in their company hats, and t-shirts, putting their link out saying join my company, buy from me.
I have said many of times lately, people love to buy but they do not want to be sold. This type of marketing is actually costing you money, and potential customers, as well as reps.
I would like for everyone to think about the top earners in the network marketing profession, do you see them doing any marketing like what I just spoke of? I can tell you that you do not. Why, because they learned marketing, and they brand themselves. They lead with value to attract people.
In the video today I go over a lot of points on why you are losing customers with the type of marketing when you are branding the company to you.
The Do’s Of Social Media Marketing
People join people, not companies, lead with value, and you will attract people that want to join you. They will see you as a leader who can help them. Even if you do not have any results at this time. When you take the time to learn anything, regardless of how small you feel it is, remember there is also someone else who also does not yet know it. When you share what you have just learned you now are seen as a leader. You also want to be creating curiousity about what you are doing without putting your company name out there. Post your results, for instance: Maybe you just lost 10 pounds, post that. You do not have to put what you did to lose 10 pounds, but believe me anyone of your friends looking to lose weight will ask you.
I hope from today’s post you get value, and if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me. I am here to help you in any way I can.
