Some people have an image of network marketing as a bunch of ladies, selling their products, while sitting around gossiping, and drinking cokes, or the high- pressure salesman trying to sell you on becoming a millionaire if you just talk to all your friends and family and their friends and family and they would buy and sell his product. Wow, can you imagine lol?
Both of those imagines could not be further from the truth in network marketing. Especially in this day and age. It is not a hobby, nor is it a get rich quick scheme, but a great opportunity to earn a nice income running your own business either part time or full time.
One of the best things you can do to get positive and successful results is to find people who are successful and follow what they do. Success leaves clues. Implement their strategies and habits into your business. Keep tweaking the habits and processes until you achieve success. You must always be you, do not try and be someone you are not.
By learning from others you can shorten your learning curve because you can avoid the mistakes that they made. Trust me when I first started in network marketing I wish I would have been able to have resources to learn from. 1. Goals Setting
If you study any successful person or ask any successful person what they did to attain success, every one of them will definitely have this in common. They all set goals. Any success book you read will also tell you that you must set goals.
You may still be wondering why goal setting is so important. If you do not set goals, how do you know what actions to take, and how can you even measure your progress? Personally, I compare it to taking a road trip across country, with no directions, no map, no GPS system. Yes, you will get there, but how many wrong turns and time wasted hours are you going to spend. With a map routed out, you will avoid all those costly mistakes.
To accomplish the most out of your time, and create the success you are looking for I am sure you can see the importance of goal setting to reach your income goals, recruiting goals, and even product sales goals. If you have dreams of certain things you want from your business, this is where you write them down, and devise a plan to achieve them. By you taking the steps to write down your dreams, devise the plan to achieve them, you not only have dreams, but you have goals, and the map to achieve them.
2. Treat Your Network Marketing Business Like A Business
Wow to me this is where so many people go wrong. Most people get into network marketing for time freedom, and/or financial freedom. As I have said earlier success leaves clues. I have a lot of personal friends that are highly successful in their different network marketing companies. The reason they have become successful is they treat their business like a business.
They schedule hours to work their business. They make sure they have leads coming in. They network, they keep track of income and expenses. They are thrifty where they need to be, and they spend money for when they need to for their business. In other words, they treat their business like a business.
The bottom line is if you treat your network marketing business like a real business then you can have a successful network marketing business. If you treat it like a hobby, or like you have already built it, then you WILL NOT do the actions needed to grow a successful business. It is definitely a REAL business so treat it like a real business.
3. Schedule Time To Build Your Network Marketing Business
Having a home based business requires discipline and determination. What is important to you then you will find time, what is not important to you then you will find excuses. Sorry, but have, to be honest with you.
So now the question is how do you have the discipline to work from home. Well, it is easier than you think if you truly want to build a successful business. Think of it like this, when you have a job, you set an alarm and you get up, get ready and commute to that job. When you have a home based business you simply schedule the time you are going to work your business.
If you do not schedule time for your business, then you are simply not treating it like a business, and you are denying yourself the opportunity of having a successful home based business.
To be honest, when you first start you will be highly under paid, but remember the work you do now will pay off for years to come. Keep the big picture in mind, and do what ever it takes to succeed. Yes it will be hard at first but I promise as your business grows you will see how fun and enjoyable network marketing really is. Once you really get your business going it will be fun and will definitely not feel
like work, you will find it very easy to set aside time to work your business. Why, because it will definitely not feel like work.
4. Do The Task That Make You Money
In network marketing, there are two ways for you to make money. You either sell the company’s products or service or you recruit/sponsor someone into your business to do the sam thing you do. A Big Tip here, be a good sponsor, it will pay you great dividends in the end.
When you schedule your time to work your business it is so easy to do everything else for your business but the two things that actually create your income. Make these items of selling products/services and recruiting/sponsoring a top priority.
To make be very clear here, of your scheduled time you want to set aside 75 to 80% of that time strictly for prospecting, inviting, showing your presentation, and promoting events. These are the activities that will actually make you money. These are the activities that will make your business profitable.
5. Never Ever Miss A Company Sponsored Event
This is so important to the growth and success of you and your business. You will find that great network marketing companies have amazing conferences/training events/conventions.
This is where the magic can truly happen. You are around a group of like-minded people, you get training on your product/service, you learn how to market your business, and you can make amazing connections with other business owners and learn from them. Make it a point at these events to meet the top leaders, seek advice from them, and learn from their experience.
Plug your team into these events as well, so that you and your team can learn from the best, learn what others are doing to grow their business. Share with others what is working for your team, and even what has not worked for you. It may be that someone can offer you a little tweak to something that will make it work amazingly well. If you do not attend these events you will never know and you are putting you, your business and your team at a huge disadvantage.

6. Keep Your Funnel Full
You must have people to talk to and invite to look at your products/business opportunity. In order to grow your business, you must have new customers and new recruits.
You need to develop the habit of inviting new people to look at your presentation. Always be on the lookout for people that would be a good fit for your business. Find ways to attract leads to looking at your business.
There are numerous ways that you can attract leads and keep your funnel full. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Blogging, Google Plus as well as you can learn how to effectively Cold Market Recruit. You can go to Network Events in your local area, Periscope, Snap Chat. Use your talents, to attract the right people to your business.
The great thing about your network marketing business is that there are so many ways you can generate leads from around the world. I want to say here, however, do it the right way, DO NOT spam your link, if you just put your link out there you are basically treating your business like it is a cheap commodity, and you will not get the results you want. Hold posture and protect your link, you need people but you do not need everyone.

This is possibly different than what you thought I would put here. You need to be seen as a leader, to be seen as a leader. It does not matter if you have only 1 person on your team or 1oo, or 500 people on your team you want to be the leader that you dream of being when you have a team of 20,000 or more. Always work on yourself develop, it will make you a better leader.
Now, today is when you position yourself as a leader. You can do this by inspiring, encouraging, and being the kind of leader that others will want to be around and partner with. A lot of your experts are simply self-proclaimed experts. It takes much more than simply proclaiming to be an expert. Actions speak louder than words, and the actions are far more important.
One of the most rewarding things about network marketing is that you get to help people grow not just personally, but also financially. Even when you come across people who are not interested in your product/service or your business opportunity, my advice is to still look for ways that you can bless their lives.
