Leads are the life blood of your business, so you constantly need to be adding people to your list of prospects. Something to keep in mind when you are developing relationships online is that even if the person is not interested in your business or product at the time, still continue to nuture that relationship.
No does not mean never, what it means is not right now. Peoples circumstances are always changing, so you never know when that no could turn to a yes, but if you treat people just like a number then you actually have the entire concept wrong. Just being real with you here. It is not what they can do for you, it is what you can do for them.

If you think of the number of people on social media alone the numbers are staggering. There is absolutely not a shortage of people to connect with. In Network Marketing we are basically in a relationship business. Here is your key, build relationship and see how YOU can serve the person you are building the relationship with.
If you have not had conversations with some of your friends, acquaintances on social media a great place to start is with them. Send them a private message. Now I advise that before you do this that you check out their profile and see if this is the type of person you would want in your business. If everything on their social media is negative, I personally would not message them. But once you have checked out their social media page, then send them a private message and tell them you have been friends for a while on social media and you are just wanting to connect more with your social media friends. Maybe you have something in common, that you can mention. You can find a lot out by checking out profiles.
This has just been some ways that you can really start generating leads without being spammy on social media. This is far more professional, as well as in the long run, far more effective.
